Support for NCPA's Legislative Agenda Growing in Congress In the past three weeks, 21 more members of Congress have signed on to the bills that comprise NCPA's legislative agenda. The legislation addresses the "here and now" issues that you---the NCPA membership---identified as most important in our annual priorities survey earlier this year. Here's the scorecard:

MAC reform:

  • H.R. 244—Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.), 18 cosponsors (+3, including Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington, the 4th ranking member of the House GOP leadership).

Provider status:

  • H.R. 592—Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.), 157 cosponsors (+12, including McMorris Rodgers).
  • S. 314—Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), 21 cosponsors (+4).

Any willing pharmacy

  • H.R. 793—Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.), 53 cosponsors (+1).
  • S. 1190—Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), 7 cosponsors (+1).
